"Echoes of Tradition" was created right after Yana's first trip to Cape Town — and you can feel it. The energy, the colors, the rhythm of life there… it all spilled out onto the canvas. Something about that place felt paused in time, yet bursting with soul.

In this work, I combined my signature pixelated technique with vibrant tones to explore not just form, but emotion. The pixels allow space — for interpretation, for imagination. They reflect the times we live in, where reality shifts rapidly, almost like we're moving between dimensions at high speed.

At the center stands a young boy, painted in grayscale — a quiet anchor in the middle of motion. Around him, color radiates in soft, rhythmic waves, like a spiritual pulse. Each hue speaks its own language — one of ancestry, presence, and inner stillness.
